Adecco Creative and Marketing is currently seeking a Jr. HR Generalist for a contract job opportunity located in Boston, MA.

This is a temporary role, approx. 6 weeks, paying up to $35ph.

Luxury retail company is seeking an experienced HR professional to join their HR Services team. In this role you will support our clients with a variety of HR projects and day to day needs. This is a fast paced position, that requires superb communication and written skills, as well as a high level of attention to detail.

 

Responsibilities

  • Evaluation of client’s human resources plans and procedures; assists in development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures; prepares and maintains employee handbook and policies and procedures manuals
  • Review and coordinate the client’s employment, employee/labor relations, personnel, and equal opportunity policies and practices
  • Responsible for assisting in the development of job descriptions and other personnel documents and forms
  • Provides clients with employee relations counseling and coaching
  • Maintains knowledge of industry trends and employment legislation and insures client’s compliance
  • Provides Federal and State legislation compliance guidance pertaining to all HR matters
  • Maintains a high level of confidentiality and professionalism in daily tasks
  • Contribute to the development, implementation and monitoring of policies and procedures based on relevant legislation and contemporary HR management practices
  • Deliver responses to requests received from clients through email and by phone in a timely manner, including but not limited to issues that are sensitive in nature
  • Work closely with Team Leaders or Department Head to ensure smooth transition and escalation of issues to ensure that all issues raised by clients are followed up as appropriate
  • Assist the Team Leaders or Department Head to develop scalable processes and procedures as they relate to the HR Services team providing exceptional customer service to our client
  • Participates in professional development sessions and trainings
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned

Qualifications

  • Four-year degree or equivalent relevant experience
  • Experience in interpreting, advising, analyzing and implementing policies and procedures
  • At least 2 years of recent experience in a Human Resource Generalist role. Knowledge of relevant HR policies and procedures is highly preferred
  • The written communication skills to produce succinct correspondence and reports
  • A commitment to providing excellent customer service
  • Experience in providing advice and support to senior managers on strategic matters
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe
