Description

The Instructional and Communication Design Specialist will be responsible for developing high-quality engaging courses for online and instructor-led environments, and designing visually appealing communication and program branding materials. This person will work closely with Subject Matter Experts (SME’s) and is responsible for course design based on content developed by the SMEs. This person will provide instructional design support, consultation, needs-based training and guidance for best-practices, ADA compliance support, and quality assurance. This person will work closely with team members to create customized and engaging communication.

Instructional and Communication Design Specialist responsibilities:


• Work with SMEs to design global training programs that fulfill business needs
• Create design documents, content outlines, storyboards, A/V scripts and other supporting documents
• Author classroom instruction document to include instructor guides, student guides and classroom support tools
• Identify and integrate appropriate course technologies to engage the learners.
• Create learning content that delivers on objectives and is structured for optimized learning
• Design custom, branded print and digital graphic content within our corporate brand standards
Qualifications:
• Three (3) to five (5) years of related experience in a global corporate training environment
• Knowledge of and experience using a learning management system and other course management tools
• Experience with Articulate 360 or similar software
• Solid skills in graphic design
• Legal training course development (a plus)
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment on multiple projects
