Job Description:

Our client, the “World’s Largest Search Engine” is looking for an excellent Jr. Quality Analyst who can root-cause rejected order issues based on operational expertise, retail knowledge, and data.

 

This individua will join a team of analysts responsible for operational excellence.  Our goal will be to ensure that every order with our client is 100% fulfilled, without any rejections or cancellations from our merchant partners.  Any issue that is keeping us from achieving this goal will need to be immediately identified and root-caused by the team, partnering with cross-functional groups to execute solutions.  This position will also help shape the future design of our products and processes by highlighting opportunities for growth, scale, and efficiency.

 

We’re looking for someone with initiative and a sizable appetite for data and the “so what?” beyond the numbers.  Our ideal candidate can extract actionable insights to help drive execution across a diverse set of projects in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, and is always concerned about the customer experience.

 

Qualifications:

  • Excellent Communication Skills, written & verbal
  • 2+ years’ experience in operations and/or root cause analysis roles
  • Detail-oriented, with demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality work at speed
  • Self-directed, curious, and intrinsically motivated
  • Collaborative with a strong bias for action
  • Passion for ecommerce

 

Responsibilities:

  • Full comprehension of all fulfillment and transportation processes, the risks and interdependencies
  • Suggest improvements based on gaps in existing processes
  • Review cases where orders were rejected/unfulfilled and root cause them to drive action with the operations team, nationally
  • Validate data and flag issues with appropriate internal partners to resolve
  • Identify trends and propose solutions
  • Work cross functionally as needed to drive solutions
