  • Perform duties in a safe manner. Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
  • Perform duties according to standard operating procedures (SOPs), ensure that required data is properly documented in a timely fashion according to the current SOPs
  • Duties include sample handling, transfer of samples to microassay plates, measuring and preparing of reagents, data entry and sample storage.
  • Report deviations from SOPs, or unexpected results in a timely fashion
  • Routinely monitor laboratory procedures to ensure that all activities are performed according to the current versions of the SOPs
  • Ensure proper operation of laboratory equipment by calibrating, completing preventive maintenance requirements, following manufacturer's instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions, calling for repairs, and maintaining equipment inventories
  • Maintain laboratory supply inventory by monitoring stock to determine inventory levels, anticipating needed supplies, and notifying appropriate personnel
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement process


  • HS diploma or equivalent (BS Preferred). Job relevant position and/or post high school training required
  • Proficient in pipette usage, sample handling, and processing a variety of sample types
  • Familiarity with laboratory, safety, and sample handling procedures
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications and LIMS Applications preferred
  • Strong communication skills, time management skills, team orientation, and work ethic.
  • Must be detail oriented and accurate
