Adecco is currently assisting a reputable high volume supplier in mold aluminum castings to several industries in their endeavors to fill a Launch Process Engineer role in Warrensburg, MO. This is a direct hire role. This position is responsible to interface with sales, engineering and customers to define customer requirements and specifications and utilize management tools in establishing timelines, building action item lists, assigning responsibility, completion dates and achieving project goals in a timely manner. The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:

Lead cross-functional teams to execute new product and/or custom product projects on time, within budget, and compliant to defined requirements for functionality and quality.
May be responsible for multiple projects concurrently.
Assist the Sales department in estimating hours and costs for quotes.
Assist Operations in resource and project planning for smaller projects.
May lead or participate in internal special projects related to process improvement and/or quality improvement.
Interface with customers in regard to the development of products to meet the specifications established by the customer and application engineering, including formal customer reviews.
Create realistic project schedules and ensure the completion of the scheduled tasks as planned.
Ensure that all designs meet company manufacturing requirements along with the customers requirements.
Participate in vendor selection and interface with vendors in regard to parts or subcontract work.
Participate in the continuous quality improvement process of the Total Quality Management program.
Interface with the various department as needed for completion of projects.
Communicates with customers, both informally and formally, regarding technical content/issues, cost, and schedule.



5 years’ experience in project management with an established track record of success.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, with a technical degree preferred.
At least 2 years of Customer Interface experience.
Computer proficient, experience with Microsoft Project is desirable.
Superior organizational and detail-oriented skills
Willingness to work flexible hours when necessary
Strong leadership qualities, including the ability to lead and influence a diverse team without having any team members in a direct reporting relationship.
Results oriented with strong personal drive and personal ownership in meeting commitments.
Strong planning skills including contingency planning and pro-active corrective action.
Ability to handle multiple projects in an environment of changing priorities and short timeframes.
Ability to interface with various departments.
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Must be able to work in the USA without sponsorship.
Must be able to travel occasionally.
