Contract with possible permanent placement. Our client is one of the fastest growing eCommerce fashion retailers in the country. With over 15 million Instagram followers and a brand new 400,000 sq ft modern distribution facility, they are in need of a Process Engineer to reduce process waste and drive productivity.

 

The successful candidate will be a seasoned leader, problem solver, and change manager, able to interact professionally and confidently with C-suite executives.

 

Job Summary

  • #1 - Work with aggressiveness, tenacity, persistence, and intelligent forcefulness.
  • Use Six Sigma methodology and metrics to plan, design and accomplish key projects and business objectives.
  • Develop process improvement opportunities based on analysis that lead to performance improvement.
  • Lead large-scale organizational programs/projects from conception through full deployment.
  • Execute strategic performance analysis, gap assessment, opportunity identification and change implementation for critical processes across the organization, to deliver scalable and sustainable best in class operations.
  • Partner with CEO, CFO, subject matter experts, and project teams to ultimately develop solutions to critical daily business challenges.
  • Facilitate significant quality, process and performance improvement activities.
  • Effectively interpret and communicate details into concise and understandable facts, numbers, and actionable items.
  • Be a change agent, initiate action, overcome obstacles, make progress and drive a process or project from start to finish alone or within a team to achieve acceptable results.

 

Experience/Training

  • Five years minimum experience with Lean, Six Sigma (DMAIC) and PDCA required.
  • Proven track record of highly effective presentations to all levels of management required.
  • Demonstrated track record of large-scale sustainable projects and ROI required.
  • Database querying & dashboard development preferred.
  • Warehouse systems and automated order fulfillment experience preferred.

 

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree Engineering or related field required. Masters preferred.

 

Licenses/Certifications

  • LSS Black Belt certification required.
  • PMP preferred.
  • SQL querying & warehousing preferred.

 

Skills

  • Strong analytical/problem solving and idea-generating skills in data collection required.
  • Experience with Minitab, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio.
  • Written skills: create policies, procedures, and work instructions.
