Learning Event Program Planner

Adecco is currently assisting a local client in their search to fill a Learning Event Program Planner Position In Richardson, this will be a Direct Hire. Salary around $55k to $60k.

As a Learning Event Program Planner you will be responsible for coordinating learning events and programs including content and vendor management along with the control and development of system documentation.

Responsibilities for the Learning Event Program Planner include:

  • Control and develop system documentation, including hardware, software and clinical for a variety of audiences, internal and external
  • Develop and customize doctor communication/presentation collateral for internal and external use
  • Coordinate and assist doctors in development of publications, collateral & presentations
  • Ensure revision control of all materials
  • Project manage & coordinate largest annual learning event for 300+ customers in cooperation with 3rd party event planners
  • Manage & report on event expense budget
  • Develop & manage internal & external communications to promote and report on learning events
  • Manage internal training certifications
  • Coordinate meeting logistics for customer trainings
  • LMS administration & support
  • Exhibitor recruitment & management for major learning events
  • Plan, develop, & deliver internal & practice staff training
  • Support & participate in internal trainings as needed
  • Support & participate in training/learning web & media development projects as needed
  • Evaluates training program effectiveness & recommends improvements
  • Assists with other organizational training & documentation initiatives as needed
  • Supports eLearning course authoring/review as needed
  • Works closely with SMEs to produce learning collateral internally & externally
  • Manage & maintain monthly data reporting for ongoing learning programs
  • Coordinate regular data consolidation with other team members


  • HS diploma or equivalent required
  • College degree preferred
  • Strong consulting and facilitation skills
  • Solutions-oriented self-starter
  • Aptitude for critical thinking & problem solving
  • Customer focused personality and attitude required
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Able to perform under pressure and deliver time-sensitive projects by deadlines
  • Comfort working both independently and collaboratively
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite required, esp. pivot tables in Excel
  • Excellent task management and organizational skills
  • Experience coordinating events
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud a plus
  • Knowledge of basic documentation design/layout principles
  • Tolerance for ambiguity during discovery stages of development
  • An eye for innovation and optimization
  • Strong work ethic & investment in generating high-quality products
