Legal Collections Specialist

Adecco is currently assisting a local client in their search to fill a Legal Collections Specialist in NYC.

POSITION: B2B Legal Collections Specialist

DURATION: temp-to-hire

Pay rate:  $40/hr


  • Collections and Accounts Receivable staff augmentation role requirements
  • Handle cases involving amounts exceeding $100K
  • Prioritize cases by dollar amount, likelihood of payment, escalation required
  • Perform Deduction Management tasks
  • Confidently and effectively communicate in writing and over the phone with corporate clients and high-net-worth individuals regarding exceptionally sensitive matters
  • Coordinate with law firm partners on action plans to resolve escalated collections matters and effectively update and notify them to stay on track
  • Track status in business management platform (e.g., Thomson Reuters Elite 3E) of all outstanding matters in portfolio according to best practices


  • 3 + years of experience in B2B and B2C legal collections.
  • Must have collections experience with $100M+ firms or full-service firms and experience in matters involving disputes
  • Experience with 3E Elite required
  • Experience with highly sensitive, international, or HNW disputes preferred
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office (particularly Excel)
  • Results-driven and patient
  • High degree of attention to detail
