Localization Process and Documentation Project Coordinator 

 

 

Project Overview: 
The Localization team helps the organization with ideas and products look, feel and sound natural to users in their own countries. We collaborate with international Engineering, Product, and Marketing teams to steer products through the localization process and ensure successful launches across the globe. We leverage strong relationships and project management skills to establish launch needs, deadlines, and budgets. Our team is an international collection of enthusiastic, creative, and knowledgeable people who excel in a fast-paced, culturally diverse environment. 

Overall Responsibilities: 
As a Localization Process and Documentation Project Coordinator you’ll apply your experience in process excellence to identify and tackle operational inefficiencies. 
As you standardize and improve workflows, you’ll use your organizational skills to coordinate with internal teams to develop and document improvements. 
You have a passion for process improvement, excellent documentation and the desire to work on a global team. 

Top 3 Daily Responsibilities: 
Taking complex processes instructions and creating simple and direct documentation 
Collaborating with the Operational Excellence team to document and analyze current state processes and pain points for critical business workflows. 
Maintaining the content within the content management strategy and coordinating documentation efforts for the Localization team in partnership with vendors 

Required Skills: 
4 years of project/program coordinating experience working across teams. 
2 years of Process and Documentation experience 
Strong skills working with Content around Content Management Strategy 
Strong verbal and written communication skills 
Experience working with cross-functional teams 
Strong organizational skills 

Nice to have Skills (not required): 
BA/BS degree in any field 
Localization Tool Experience 
CMS Tool Experience 
Tech savvy and able to utilize Google internal tools 
Aptitude for learning and working with complex tools and systems 
Experience building knowledge bases and documentation strategies
