PAY RATE: $20 to $25 per hour depending on qualifications
HOURS: 40 hrs per week - 1st Shift

This Position supports Head of Logistics Excellence. Includes, but not limited to schedules, travel arrangements, research analysis, expense reports, organization of documentation within SharePoint and effective written and verbal communication.
The Logistics Excellence Staff Associate will coordinate internal and external communications processes within the team as well as external communications with business leaders and associated teams.

Provide support to the Head of Logistics Excellence, associated team members and selected regional members by scheduling of meetings, appointments, teleconferences, managing calendars, making travel arrangements, catering food, coordinate events, preparation and submission of expense reports in accordance with company policies, ordering of office supplies for staff and department
Coordinate related local communications, business events and training for all Logistics Excellence functions regarding requirements assessment, scheduling, long and short term coordination, and pertinent post event documentation and follows up on administrative details within and across divisions
Coordinate project and initiative documentation control
Participates in or leads special projects as requested
May be responsible for taking and distributing minutes for internal meetings
May assist in researching and compiling data and compose routine correspondence, reports and presentations for review and final revision by manager
May track a variety of department and/or employee data and complete regularly scheduled reports by due date

Education Requirement(s):
Prefer 2-5 year experience in Administrative Assistant with minimum of 2-4 year experience in a manufacturing industry
Proven ability to exercise diplomacy and discretion
Proven ability to work under pressure
Demonstrated knowledge of administrative methods and practices
Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated organizational skill and time management skills
Excellent written and oral communications skills
Excellent problem solving and stress management skills
Ability to work both within a team environment and independently
Ability to interact with others at all levels and diverse backgrounds within the administrative and operations team to improve processes, gain efficiencies and create a positive team environment
Ability to work a flexible work schedule including some weekend and evening work

Skill & Competency Requirements:
Strong computer skills, including MS Office Suite - Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Outlook; MS Access preferred but not required
Manufacturing/Industrial based Customer Service. International, Supply Chain, and Logistics experience a plus

Business Management Degree strongly preferred or equivalent
Some Six Sigma training is a plus
Some SAP experience is a plus
