Adecco is currently assisting a local client in their search to fill an Logistics Coordinator - position located in Miramar, FL! This is a long term opportunity for the right person. Perform daily operations including but not limited to:

  • Timely Purchase Order Coverage
  • Daily track and trace
  • Delivery coordination
  • Administrative tasks as required
  • Participation in strategy planning including:
  • Continuous Network optimization
  • Identification of capacity constraints alongside global, national and regional requirements
  • Carrier on boarding
Project Coordination Requirements:
  • Ability to generate rate comparison analysis and provide solutions to management
  • Ability to conduct business in professional operations oriented environment
  • Ability to clearly and succinctly communicate with service providers,
  • suppliers and internal customers at all organizational level
  • Experience using technology to advance process improvement


Key Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Access, and other Microsoft Office applications
  • 2-4 years prior Logistics experience in a fastpaced, high volume environment
  • Proven ability to build and maintain professional relationships with a variety of internal/external customers is required o Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Team player with willingness to collaborate with different departments
  • Microsoft Office skills required (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) etc.
  • Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:Coordinates inbound logistics pickup and delivery to ensure sufficient supply of goods and products.
  • Collaborates with suppliers and carriers to update statuses and dates on purchase orders which include shipment location, pickup appointment dates, delivery appointment dates, pickup or delivery arrival dates, and/or estimated delivery dates. Confirms complete, accurate, and timely data updates.
  • Has the ability to multitask in a fast paced, high pressure environment with a focus on accuracy.
  • Management of heavy email volume experience required
  • Completes assigned tasks with a moderate degree of supervision.
