Adecco is currently assisting a local client in their search to fill a Logistic Import/Export Clerk job in the Sugarland. Apply Now if you meet the qualifications listed below!

Job Functions:
Receive customer orders, create orders in the systems based on the quote, and confirm each order to the customer all in line with the TQM system to assure 100% customer satisfaction
Ensure tank container information is given the customer along with booking information and instructions to the appropriate logistic service providers.
Update system daily and inform customer accordingly.
Ensure necessary shipping documents are created and sent to all necessary parties.
Control deviations from planned activities via Improvement Service Failure form.
Back up team members during absences or when required by management.
Ensure financial reporting tools are updated, current, and accurate.
Coordinate with truck planning to schedule loading/unloading dates and times.
Provide clear and concise communication to customers on a daily basis.
Other job duties as assigned.

Experience and Educational Requirements:
College degree, preferred but not required
2 to 5 years work experience
Strong computer application skills
Good analytical and problem solving abilities
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Detail oriented
Ability to interact with all levels in the organization
Ability to work in a fast paced environment and multi-task with the ability to plan and complete work with little supervision/if you become permanent.
