Scope - About the Role
The Maintenance Technician (MT) is responsible for performing preventative and responsive maintenance on the client e-bikes/scooters fleet, evaluating client e-bikes/scooters for safety before deployment, and optimizing our fleet for the best possible user experience. The MT is responsible for documenting and resolving maintenance issues via client’s homegrown maintenance software programs.

Requirements

  • Intermediate experience using standard hand and power tools
  • Intermediate computer knowledge (spreadsheets, documents, web browser, emails, etc)
  • Familiarity with using smartphones / technology (iOS / iPhone experience preferred)
  • Ability to learn and implement new processes quickly
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. with ease on a regular basis
  • Ability to stand / be on your feet for extended periods of time (4+ hrs.)
  • (Preferred) Prior experience working in auto / bike / other related mechanic experience a plus


Responsibilities

  • Train MT1 and WT on best practices on all e-bike/scooter hardware and firmware features
  • Assist in creation and documentation of warehouse processes & procedures
  • Provide oversight of shift priorities and act as a point of escalation for warehouse team
  • Optimize the safety and function of the client e-bikes/scooters fleet
  • Maintain a safe, clean and organized workshop
  • Perform regular full inspections of e-bikes/scooters fleet
  • Repair e-bikes/scooters as tasked by the Head Mechanic
  • Navigate client’s operations and maintenance software tools using a combination of shop computers, phones, and tablets
  • Adhere to all safety protocol as established by the Field Ops Manager, HM, and Lead Field Technicians
  • Ability/Flexibility to work non-standard hours including weekends


Pay: $21.00/hour

Days: Various schedules to choose - Mon, Tues, Wed, Thurs, Fri, Sat and Sun

Shifts: AM, PM and GY

Hours: Full-time
