Adecco is currently assisting a local client in their search for a Loss Prevention Clerk role in Union City, CA.   Candidates must be local to this area or within reasonable commuting distance.  We are only considering candidates that meet the qualifications listed below:

  • Must be able to successfully complete a full background check, drug screen, employment verification, educational verification and reference checks required upon any offer.



The Loss Prevention Clerk requires a background in either data analysis or previously worked as an administrative professional.  This position offers a flexible schedule based on the needs of the business.  The successful candidate must be able to type accurately at a high rate of speed with excellent knowledge of spreadsheet/database software (MS Excel, MS Access). Superior command of the English language in both oral and written format.   



Responsibilities/ Requirements:

  • Transfer Loss Prevention research data output from paper formats into web based/MS Excel/MS Access database systems.
  • Create spreadsheets and output large volumes of data into requested formats without mistakes.
  • Verify data by comparing it to source documents, ensure data entry accuracy is very high.
  • Update existing databases with new information.
  • Retrieve data from the database or electronic files as requested, manipulate this data using MS Excel to create charts, graphs and custom tables and pivot tables.
  • Sort, organize and file paperwork after entering data.
  • Support loss prevention team in utilizing CCTV and reporting to analyze product loss scenarios and assess shortage vulnerabilities in a controlled substance supply chain.
  • Able to learn the client’s proprietary systems and adapt quickly.
  • Additional administrative responsibilities as needed in supporting the Loss Prevention Supervisor and Director of Asset Management and Security.


Pay: $18.00/hr


Shift Start/End Time:  Flexible hours which may include early mornings (ex: starting as early as 5am) and weekends as needed.
