Adecco is currently Staffing for a fortune 500 medical device manufacturer in their search for high quality employees with great skills! This position is expected to become available in the near future.

Successful applicants will have stayed in one of their last 3 jobs for at least a FULL year, and will have at least a full year of PERTINENT experience.

Wage: $12/hr (1st shift) -$13/hr (2nd and 3rd)
Certain Assignments may pay as much as $15/hr though these are not common.

This will be a TRUE TEMP ASSIGNMENT, but the client will have the option of hire-in from day 90 through the rest of the assignment.

Description:
Sets up and operates manual or automated production machinery. Loads raw material into machine and unloads finished product. Checks products routinely for multiple quality characteristics using standard measuring devices. Inspects machine and adjusts set up as needed. Maintains production and quality records. Able to follow written and verbal instructions and safety procedures.

Facilitates production operations by performing a variety of tasks.
1. Operates and monitors equipment and replenishes materials as needed.
2. Uses hand tools and power tools to assemble units according to product specifications.
3. Performs general warehouse and picking/packing duties.
4. Inspects sub-assemblies and finished goods.
5. Maintains equipment and cleans production area.
6. Requires standing for extended periods and performing strenuous repetitive activities.
7. Must be able to lift 50 pounds repeatedly.

QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Requires completion of high school education or equivalent.
2. TIG experience preferred
3. Quality training including visual inspection of welds (if operating a robot welder), incoming part quality, gage plan completion, and proper part loading.
4. Ability to read, understand and follow set-up instructions, process sheets, blueprints, etc.
5. Ability to use height stand, calipers, micrometers, coordinate measuring system, and other inspection equipment to inspect work pieces.
6. Experience in a manufacturing environment, particularly involving machine operation or welding equipment, preferred.
