First Shift Machine Operator - Entry Level

  • Must be flexible to work OT on Fri and Sat CNC Machine Operator

Responsibilities Include:

Read and properly implement work instructions

Make appropriate tool and work shift offset when necessary

Proper installation of fixtures in accordance with the work instructions, including, but not limited to, the proper placement of pins, proper use of bolts, dowel pins, clamps, chuck jaws, etc.

Locate home base for each part as defined in the work instructions and entering values into machine center, limited to specific machines and as required

Accurately deburr machined parts by following work instructions and adhering to customer specifications Basic Machine Operation Training provided, operator will be trained and certified to perform the basic machine operations described above.

Use handheld tools to prep material for deburr, part load and proper loading procedures

Perform basic quality inspections using appropriate measuring instruments to ensure that part is in conformance to print specifications

Understand production, quality, and delivery expectations and work with team to help reach and maintain production standards and goals

Ensure that all responsibilities and functions performed are in accordance with company procedures and meet the quality standards in place

Perform ongoing and regular preventative maintenance on equipment

Maintain all required paper work

Maintain a clean, efficient and safe work area in accordance with Ultra Clean and safety policies and procedures Perform other duties as assigned by supervision

Qualifications: The requirements listed below represent the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required to perform the essential duties and responsibilities associated with this position.

Must have a high school diploma or equivalent

Must be able to demonstrate mechanical aptitude Strong preference given to previous experience with machine operations

Must be able to effectively communicate, both verbal and written

Must demonstrate the ability to read, analyze, and follow work instructions

Must demonstrate the ability to understand and work with basic mathematical concepts

Must have basic computer skills

Must be able to promote and participate in a team oriented environment

Must be able to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.

Must have the ability and willingness to work extended hours and overtime, including weekends, as required by the work schedule and production needs

Must demonstrate reliability and attention to detail To comply with U.S. government regulations applicable to this position.
