Adecco is seeking a Machine Operator for an Electronics Manufacturing company in Canby, OR.
This is a long term opportunity- Temp-to-Hire.

Shift is Thur-Sat, 5am-5pm and is paying $15 per hour to start.

Operation of some (but not all) production machines such as SMT Pick & Place, Through-Hole Component Insertion, Sequencing Machine, Wave Flow and Reflow Solder Machines. Level 1 of 3 of Machine Operator classification.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Set up machinery and perform minor machine maintenance per documented instructions.
Run product through machine with quality and efficiency.
Observe machine operation to detect work piece defects or machine malfunction.
Correct defects when possible or route defective material for rework or repair.
Follow appropriate quality policies and procedures.
Perform work to appropriate efficiency and utilization standards.
Participate in work group/team activities.  
Must be a positive and dependable team member, adaptive & supportive of change.  
Practice and participate in Continuous Improvement and Lean activities. 
Provide input to problem solving process and possess good communication skills.
Maintain a clean and safe work area and environment.
The work performed in this job can only be done on site; therefore attendance is an essential function of the job.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE 
High school diploma or GED required. A minimum of one year related experience and/or training in electronics industry. 

LANGUAGE SKILLS 
Ability to read, speak, and understand English to enable clear communication & comprehension of documentation

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS 
Basic math skills will be required to add, subtract, multiply & divide. Basic understanding of & ability to read performance graphs. 

OTHER REQUIREMENTS
Able to perform basic data entry transactions.
Must achieve passing score on the IPC Component Identification course. 
Must achieve a passing score on the IPC Workmanship standards exam.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS  
While performing the duties of this position, employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Vision requirements include: close & distant vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
