Adecco direct-hire group currently has an opening on 1st shift for a manual machinist. This is a unique opportunity to work with ceramic based materials used in high-tech applications including MRI machines. You will be able to learn material specific skills in machining and will be able to say that products you make help to make the world a better place!

As the Machinist, your responsibilities will include:

Safe operation of milling machines, dicing machines and grinders
Verification of part specification, reviewing blueprints and drawings
Performing intermediate math operations to determine specifications
Perform quality inspection on parts using hand measuring devices
Reporting and discrepancies and errors to management for review

Qualifications:

High-School diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in machining or equivalent training from a certified trade school
Ability to set-up and operate manual machines
Have strong math skills
Have a team-oriented attitude and willingness to learn

This is a full-time, permanent position offering a pay rate of $18-22 per hour based on experience level. Our client offers a generous benefits package along with paid holidays and vacation time. Normal working hours are Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm and may vary based on training and client needs.
