Maintenance & Facilities Technician job
is a member of a team that is responsible for maintaining the integrity of distribution equipment at TaylorMade’s North American Distribution Center. This position supports preventative and corrective maintenance activities of distribution equipment to optimize productive resources available and ensure minimal downtime for operations. This position also supports building maintenance activities. Reports directly to Manager Maintenance & Facilities. within a warehouse environment. Responsibilities for Maintenance & Facilities Technician job include but are not limited to:

 

 

  • Supports preventative maintenance activities
  • Executes daily maintenance work schedule
  • Perform hands on maintenance activities
  • Ensures assigned repairs and maintenance are completed thoroughly and timely
  • Supports installation of new machines and production equipment
  • Conducts technical inspections of machines
  • Installs, maintains, and repairs manufacturing equipment and fixtures
  • Maintains repair and maintenance records
  • Maintain preventative maintenance inspection reports and their completion to schedule
  • Will need to be able to work on swing shift part of the year, during ramp season

 

Candidates must meet the following requirements to be considered Maintenance & Facilities Technician job:

 

 

  • Skilled use of hand and power tools
  • HVAC experience
  • Good mechanical understanding of manufacturing equipment, machines and precision measuring instruments and devices
  • Mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting skills
  • Understanding of AC and DC electrical circuits and troubleshooting of same
  • Ability to use digital multimeter
  • Basic understanding of electrical/electronic troubleshooting
  • Ability to service equipment and machines schedule by a preventative maintenance software system, to assure a maximum operating efficiency
  • An analytical mind with strong math skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational, planning and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills necessary to interact with all levels of the organization
  • Outstanding communication, interpersonal abilities and leadership skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access, Project)
  • Technical trade school diploma or certificate in mechanical maintenance/repair or closely related field required.
  • 2+ years of experience in maintenance of distribution related equipment
  • 2+ years of experience in facilities maintenance
  •  Previous supervisory experience preferred
  • Experience working with third-party logistics [3PL] providers a plus
