As a Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for the work efforts of the Maintenance Team. You will be accountable and responsible for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of plant equipment and systems. Key competency is the reduction and prevention of equipment down-time by ensuring proper maintenance practices are driven through safety, training, supervision, communication and planning. Responsibilities for this Maintenance Technician job include;

  • Development and implementation of proactive maintenance program
  • Lead, Direct, and Schedule Maintenance personnel in all Plant Maintenance functions
  • Develop a proactive and robust preventative maintenance program for the Arbuckle plant
  • Plan, develop and collaborate with staff and management for implementation of Major Capital Projects
  • Plan and develop Quarterly, and Annual Maintenance PM’s & Capital addition Shut downs
  • Develop master maintenance schedule for daily and weekly, preventive maintenance procedures
  • Management of Maintenance Parts Inventory and Supplies
  • Responsible of Annual Maintenance Budget
  • Develop and implement a maintenance and education program for all maintenance and fabrication staff
  • Responsible for Safety and Food Safety Compliant practices within the Maintenance Department
  • Review and provide recommendations for supplies/materials cost savings
  • Compare and determine best cost/quality options for all materials ordered
  • Maintain a positive and professional atmosphere for all employees and visitors
  • Ensure maintenance supply room operations are in accordance with approved procedures and company policy
    Operate forklift as needed after proper training/certification
  • Generate Standard Operating Procedures and forms as needed
  • Communicate with other shifts and supervisors/leaders via e-mail
    Ensure a clean and safe work environment is maintained
  • Participate in all audits, ensuring all areas are audit-ready at all times
  • Follow all safety rules and requirements, attending safety meetings, and tailgates
  • Delivery of objectives and disciplined leadership that is fair and balanced at all times
  • Conduct regularly scheduled performance reviews
    Other duties as directed or required.


  • 5-10 years of maintenance management experience
  • Experience working with VFD’s, PLC’s and I/O terminations
  • Use, selection, installation and troubleshooting of motors and transmission components
  • Familiar with steam process systems
  • Fluid pump systems and solid conveyance systems
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills
  • Experience with CMMS maintenance tracking systems
