Responsibilities for this Maintenance Technician job include:

 

  • Maintain and repair industrial pneumatic, hydraulic, electric, and mechanical equipment, including hydraulic and mechanical presses, welding machines, roll forming equipment, etc.
  • Troubleshoot to the piece part level; recommend and perform required repairs, including part requisition and replacement, with minimal impact to shop productivity
  • Be able to read and research electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical schematics and parts diagrams
  • Work with manufacturing engineers and other production operators to resolve production issues
  • Assemble, install, or repair wiring, electrical or electronic components, pipe systems, plumbing, machinery, or equipment
  • Clean or lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, or other parts of machinery
  • Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them, checking blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs, as necessary

 

Qualifications:

 

•     High School Diploma

•     1 - 2 years experience as a maintenance technician
•     Ability to complete tasks in a timely manner while adhering to standard operating procedure
