Maintenance Technician 1-2nd Shift

Position Purpose: Responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the sites business goals and objectives. Responsibilities/ Duties/ Functions/Tasks: Monitors parts inventories, maintenance supplies, equipment, and initiate reordering when necessary. (5%) Changeover equipment on production lines. (40%) Perform mechanic skills to repair equipment, such as: mechanical, compressed air lines, and troubleshooting. (25%) Align, fit, and assemble parts, using hand tools, battery operated power tools, fixtures, templates, etc. (15%) Perform other duties (such as PMs) as assigned to meet business needs. (15%) Competencies: Working knowledge of basic mechanical tools (Box/Allen/Adjustable Wrenches, Socket Set, etc.) Able to make maintenance repairs of processing equipment. Must be highly motivated and able to work independently. Special Position Requirements: Have no sensitivity to concentrated scents/ fragrance fumes No fear of heights (may work from step ladder or personnel lift). This is a 2nd Shift Position. Must be able to lift and move objects up to 40 pounds consistently with heavier weight necessary at times. Must be willing to work overtime. Must be willing to work weekends (up to 6.5 months of overtime on Saturdays). Requires excellent attendance. Comply with all safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas. Experience and Education Requirements: Requires a high school diploma/GED. 1+ years of manufacturing experience required. Prior Maintenance experience is a plus.
