Adecco has an opportunity to get your foot in the door in a Maintenance Technician role with a Georgetown, KY-based manufacturing firm. These Maintenance Technician positions will be responsible for the following:

Responsibilities

  • Perform necessary maintenance in a manufacturing and production environment in a timely manner
  • Coordinate with other manufacturing departments on needed improvements to maintenance processes
  • Develop standard operating procedures and written work instructions and processes for existing and future businesses.
  • Verify the team’s adherence to established safety and production standards.
  • Ensure the team’s work standards, work quantity, and quality are meeting expectations
  • Perform part structure evaluations and identify any countermeasures needed to ensure safety and compliance.
  • Establish and maintain schedules for new project development.
  • Evaluate processes for ergonomic/safety concerns and countermeasures.
  • Evaluate processes for quality concerns and countermeasures.
  • Evaluate processes for efficiency concerns and countermeasures.
  • Maintain recordkeeping as required.
  • Problem-solve and apply continuous improvements to the production process.
  • Facilitate communication between management and team members.
  • Travel, including overnight stays, is required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills.

  • Proven sense of urgency in completing daily tasks and meeting deliverables.

    To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • Degree is preferred but not required
  • Strong track record of working in a team environment and previous leadership or supervisory experience is a plus
  • Strong attendance record
  • Background in project management or lean six sigma helpful
  • Experience in Injection Molding a plus but not required
  • Ability to adapt to change quickly and with ease
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize and organize projects
  • Time management skills and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
