Adecco is recruiting for Maintenance Technicians (production AND facilities) who are flexible to work either first or second shift at its client’s manufacturing facility located in the Burlington, NC area.

You will:


Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair and maintain all equipment (both facilities as well as manufacturing) utilizing preventative and predictive maintenance programs
Implement Continuous Improvement on a plantwide basis
Train Machine Operators on basic equipment maintenance
Provide hands-on technical support for equipment down time/project coverage


Skills/Abilities/Competencies:


Use of electrical schematics and hardwiring - troubleshooting electrical systems via multi-meters, amp probes, data recorders, etc.
Working knowledge of NEC codes - if you have a license, even better!
Troubleshooting AC motors and controls to 480Vac, 3 phase and DC motors and controls to 180Vdc
Working knowledge of sensors (proximity and reed switches; color and laser sensors)
Interface PCs to PLC controllers/Troubleshooting via PLCs (Allen Bradley)
Working knowledge of chillers, HVAC units, air compressors, power distribution systems, fire suppression/sprinkler systems
Predictive maintenance including thermo imaging, ultrasonic, vibration analysis and oil analysis
Troubleshooting pneumatic, hydraulic, power transmissions systems
Working knowledge of welding processes, mills, lathes, brakes
Develop PM/PdM Plans for production equipment
Inspect/correct problem areas to ensure proper operating status
Quickly escalate more complex challenges to Team Leader/Supervisor to prevent interruption of production/facilities
Handle CI projects in the production area - monitor and report any areas for improvement
Utilize CMMS for tracking the flow of work orders
Monitor spares and equipment levels for facility equipment and flag shortages, obsolescence and inventory requirements


Required:


HS diploma/GED
Two-year degree/certificate in Industrial Systems or equivalent field of study with two years of experience within a high-volume manufacturing environment OR
Minimum five years of experience in a manufacturing environment in a maintenance capacity
Flexible for overtime (including weekends when necessary)
Proficiency in MS Office preferred.
Ability to pass background/drug screen/pre-employment physical exam
