Adecco Direct Placement is currently seeking candidates for a Direct Hire 2nd Shift Industrial Maintenance Technician job in Waterford, PA near Erie, PA. The Industrial Maintenance Technician will be responsible for maintaining food processing and packaging line components including conveyors, packaging machinery and other commercial food processing equipment. We seek candidates that have experience working with hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical, electrical and electrical controls. You will troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems, up to 480 volt, in a large food processing facility in a safe and sanitary manner. Our client has an opening on the 2nd shift (3 pm-11 pm) They offer a starting pay rate $18.02 per hour plus a $.50 shift differential per hour plus a generous benefits package that starts the 1st of the month after your start date and opportunity for growth. They also have required overtime.

Responsibilities for the Industrial Maintenance and Repair Technician Job near Erie, PA:
---Troubleshoot and repair industrial food processing and packaging/bagger line equipment.
---Will use skills in pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical, mechanical, HVAC, utilities to repair and maintain plant and equipment.
---Will perform routine preventative maintenance (PM) of industrial food processing equipment.
---Ensures that proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followed.

---Three (3) or more years' of Industrial Maintenance experience, or combined vocation education or apprenticeship and one year of hands-on experience in Industrial Maintenance.
---Applicants must have solid mechanical background and at least 3 years’ experience working with pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical and industrial skills, electrical and programmable logic controls (PLC), and HVAC. Experience with mechanical systems (e.g., gear boxes, chains, sprockets, motors, seals, bearings). Ability to read and apply knowledge to make repairs from product manuals, troubleshooting mechanical breakdowns (pinpointing and fixing breakdowns, and reading mechanical drawings (hydraulics, pneumatics).
---Experience with troubleshooting PLC’s or touch screens and electrical controls is strongly preferred.
---Experience with conveyors, packaging equipment, and kettles are a plus.
---Ability to read and interpret manuals, schematics, and engineering drawings is optimal.
---Proficient with compter programs including Microsoft
