Essential Functions:
• Perform work required for the repair, maintenance, installation and modernization of electrical systems. (75%)
• Locate and determine electrical malfunctions using test equipment (25%)
• Repair and troubleshoot mechanical issues in a specified required timeframe.
• Responsible for safety compliance personally and with equipment.
• Process all necessary repairs and history through the Maximo system.
• Train production employees as needed for set-ups, operation of all equipment, etc.
• Participate in projects and/or rebuilds.
• Responsible for food and employee safety as well as meeting all regulatory requirements for both.

High School or vocational school diploma or equivalent plus a minimum of two to four years’ manufacturing experience. Past history of working in a food production environment.
Excellent attendance and safety record.
Vocational school, technical college training or satisfactory completion of formal apprentice program, plus a minimum of 2 to 4 year’s industrial electrical experience at the Journeymen’s or Master’s level. State license required.
Ability to read and understand line diagrams and schematics.
Previous experience working in a food environment.
Required initiative and ingenuity to analyze a situation and to make frequent technical decisions based on specifications and electrical codes.
Ability to climb in overhead structures, to work beneath machines and in close quarters performing analysis, repair or installation.
High degree of precision working with minimum tolerances required. High degree of attention and care required preventing injury to others with responsibility for flow of electrical power. Exposed to voltages up to 480.

Working and Environmental Conditions:
Must be able to work overtime as needed.
Must be able to stand, kneel, bend and reach over and under all equipment on a concrete floor for long periods of time.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
Must be able to work in high areas, freely move around the entire facility indoors and out as well as work in area of extreme heat.
Basic date entry and computer experience.

Must be able to work 12 hour shifts, Wednesday – Saturday, 7pm – 7am. Pay will be in the range of $20-23/hour, depending on experience.
