Manufacturing Buyer and Production Planner

Pay Rate: $17.50 per hour / Adecco W2
Hours: Daily schedule can start anywhere from 6-7am and work 8-10 hours daily



Our client is adding a new line to their facility, and additionally have 2 people leaving this department Our client need somes temporary support to help this team.


Must be Detail Oriented with Previous experience with bills of material and manufacturing schedules. Customer service focus



Working with large number of our client's customers, you will get to develop a schedule for the production lines and understand how all the pieces are put together to ensure a successful delivery schedule; focused in a lean manufacturing environment with assembly line processes; Every day sees different/new opportunities and challenges; Get to see big picture views of the health of our client's plant and where they stand with customers


Job requirements:


Scheduling experience – preferred in an assembly line make to order environment – 2-3 years



Summary: Examine documents, materials and products, and monitor work processes in order to assess completeness, accuracy and conformation to standards and specifications. Review documents such as production schedules, work orders, and staffing tables to determine personnel and materials requirements, and material priorities. Record production data, including volume produced, consumption of raw materials, and quality control measures. Requisition and maintain inventories of materials and supplies necessary to meet production demands. Skills: Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, problem solving and interpersonal skills. Ability to analyze costs related to manufacturing, labor and materials. Ability to accurately document and record customer/client information. Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations related to shipping and production. Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
