•Responsible for leading projects including the planning and installation of new equipment.
•Key interface for vendors (equipment) related to their process responsibility.
•Drive and implement equipment changes to meet new customer/regulatory requirements
•Support converting and packaging operations for Transdermal manufacturing, to include leading projects to identify and implement OEE and Quality improvements.
•Drive innovative solutions to realize cost/process improvement opportunities that have significant business impacts.
•Author and/or revise technical documents.
•Author and manage quality investigations arising from equipment related issues.
Experience in medical device manufacturing and cGMP preferred

Works with moderate work direction, and can identify issues/problems but may need assistance in resolving. Worker performs engineering work related to planning, devising, or adapting methods to improve manufacturing production. Assignments are more complicated than the journey level and afford greater opportunity for independent decision making and action. Examines equipment, processes, operations, and assembly to determine time or quality revisions, and suggests improvements. Service may be taxable in some states. 3M holds Direct Pay Permits in the following states: AL, AR, IA, MN, NE, NC, SD, TX, WI and WV. Please do not bill sales tax in these states. 3M will be responsible for paying all sales tax due on taxable purchase orders. 3M also holds an Enterprise Zone exemption in Cordova, Illinois and Tonawanda, New York. Please do not bill tax on purchases orders for these locations.
