Home décor company located in Goldsboro, NC (hour from Raleigh, NC and Greenville, NC) needs a Marketing Analyst – Business Intelligence candidate with expertise in B2B marketing, Data Analysis and CRM (NetSuite ERP or similar)


Position Summary
The Analyst-Marketing and Business Intelligence will identify and pursue new opportunities for growth across our Home Décor and Giftware business. This role is highly analytical and offers the opportunity to find and turn large sets of market and competitive data into actionable insights that impact our strategic direction and enhance the services we provide to our client. The Analyst will work in coordination with Business Development and Customer Service to develop focused Marketing and Sales Campaigns using multiple channels and medias.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Curate and analyze market, competitive and customer data to identify business trends and opportunities
Partner with the Marketing and Communications team to develop sales tools that clearly articulate value propositions and sustainable competitive advantages
Support market segmentation and go-to-market strategy development initiatives


Deliver actionable strategic and tactical insights using data and sound analytical methods
Aggregate different sources of data to accurately create a 360-channel agnostic, customer-centric view of market space
Develop and Maintain Dashboards/KPIs and reporting across online and retail channels in partnerships
Assist team with deepening their understanding of customers’ online behaviors by providing channel specific or overall customer insights to drive campaign ROI and/or channel revenue
Provide analytical support for marketing programs and promotions across channels (e-mail, DM, Showroom, Inside Sales, etc.)
Provide analytical guidance for the targeting and cross channel initiatives for the brand
Help to enrich customer understanding through utilization of third-part demographic and behavioral data appends

Education and Training Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, management, accounting, economics, statistics, information science, engineering or similar

Experience and Skill Requirements

2-3 years of marketing experience in B2B or B2C environment with emphasis in market analyses a plus
Strong business sense and a deep understanding of numbers
Experience finding and analyzing large and disparate sets of data
Ability to translate data analysis into actionable insights
Resourceful and self-starting with an ability to seek out and solve nebulous problems across a broad set of industries and service offerings
A collaborative and creative team player with drive for innovation and continuous improvement of systems, processes, and tools
Strong organizational, project management and time management skills
A good communicator that values and nurtures strong relationships with colleagues and clients
Experience with Segmentation, Profiling, Significance Testing, Experimental Design.


Strong knowledge Excel, SQL, and Oracle database. Experience with NetSuite ERP is a plus.
Able to work cross functionally with both highly technical and analytic resources and those that have limited statistical and math training
