Marketing Analyst

Adecco is assisting a fortune 500 tech company recruiting for a Marketing Analyst in Research Triangle Park, NC. This role is a contract opportunity, based on quarterly renewals and employee performance throughout.

This role requires candidates to act as a member of the Digital Experience team, the Campaign Optimization Analyst will help with audience segmentation, A/B data analysis, campaign audience profiling, and optimization of digital experience through campaign performance analysis. We have a dynamic team that brings together a mix of backgrounds and disciplines to deliver innovative, adaptive experiences for customers to drive adoption and learning. This team has quickly grown in scope and has provided countless opportunities to be creative and bring new ideas to life. This means we go beyond traditional email-based customer engagement to omni-channel digital lifecycle motions and campaigns with rich content spanning email, social, in-product, and web channels.

Responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to:

  • Define and implement measurement and reporting strategies to analyze effectiveness of multi-touch campaigns and communicate outcomes to help make better business decisions
  • Produce propensity based-personas and audience profile requirements with continual evaluation and assessment with regards to campaign strategy based on data determined behaviors
  • Develop a deep understanding of the functionality of the CRM interface, the content of the data warehouse, and the nuances of Webex marketing and user data
  • Collaborate with Campaign Data Analyst based in China to assemble data lists and reports using our campaign management platform and Hadoop
  • Take the lead on A/B testing by defining useful hypotheses, designing robust experiments, analyzing results and providing recommendations on overall strategy and specific campaign execution
  • Ensure consistent and relevant analytics reporting across campaigns with the intent to optimize and influence strategic direction on a weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc basis
  • Provide valuable actionable data-driven insights and recommendations through rigorous and meticulous cohort analysis to support optimizing digital strategy, campaigns and engagement in customer digital experience
  • Own portion of campaign strategy by fully understanding the database and customer outcomes to ensure that we not only “get the campaigns out the door”, but support the bigger picture.
  • Fully understand the marketing program and backend measurements
  • Assist efforts to improve and refine analytics offerings by staying up to date with emerging trends and best practices

Candidates must meet the following requirements to be considered for this role:

  • 2 years minimum using data extracting and manipulation tools including, Microsoft Excel formulas, pivot tables, formatting, variables; web analytics software, such as, Google Analytics, Marketing Cloud along with Reporting Tools such as, Power BI or other data visualization tools.
  • 2 years minimum of experience in digital marketing creating A/B strategies and optimizing campaigns through analysis of performance metrics and customer behavior KPIs
    Ability to understand and document how data sources map to various processes.
    Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office suite with an emphasis on Excel and Access.
  • Strong analytical skill-set with attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal, communication (written/verbal), teamwork and consensus building skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in the field of Computer Science, Math,
  • Statistics, Business, Engineering or related quantitative field required.
  • 3-5 years of related work experience required.
  • Familiarity with direct marketing business concepts and terminology
  • Bachelor's degree in a marketing or business equivalent preferred
