Adecco Creative is assisting our client, a membership-based site that creates art and craft video classes with some of the most well-respected designers in the world, in their search for a Summer Marketing Assistant. This is a full time temporary position, working up to 40 hours per week onsite in the client's San Francisco offices, and expected to last through the mid to end of August. 

 

The role will strategize, plan, execute and evaluate all subscription acquisition initiatives and support ambitious growth plans for subscription volumes. This person will work closely with the Editorial and Marketing teams to grow and maintain deep relationships with third-party affiliates and artists – ultimately supporting the business goals of increasing the company's subscriber base, brand awareness, and engagement.

 

The ideal candidate should be resourceful and ready to jump in where needed. This position will assist across all areas of marketing, including email marketing, social media, affiliate management, and running successful integrated campaigns. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with social media planning and content development
  • Manage communications with affiliate community
  • Help prospect new affiliates and influencers
  • Manage email marketing campaigns
  • Assist with partnership relations
  • Help to ideate and execute exciting brand campaigns
  • Distribute weekly industry news updates 
  • Other administrative duties, as needed

Requirements:

  • Candidates should be pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field or hold a recent degree
  • Basic knowledge of marketing principles
  • Proficient in Facebook, Instagram, and other social media platforms
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with email or automation apps preferred
  • Adobe Photoshop skills preferred
  • JIRA project and issue tracking software experience a plus
     
  • Detail oriented, with excellent organizational skills
  • Resourceful self-starter that can complete complex projects
  • Strong team player that enjoys collaborating
  • Has impeccable oral and written communication skills
  • Eager to learn in a start-up environment
  • Broad knowledge and love of crafting a plus -- particularly, drawing, painting,
    sewing, quilting, knitting and crochet
