Commercial and Residential company in Rochester, NY needs a Marketing Communications Coordinator with great copy writing and storytelling ability.

Candidate must be experienced in storytelling, copy writing and social media management.

This person will proactively seek opportunities within the company’s industry and come up with ways to promote and grow the organization.

Candidate will have experience working with outside vendors and agencies to complete more complex marketing solutions.

Assist Director of Marketing on the creative and administrative side.
Primary Responsibilities:

Create and produce graphic and written subject matter content
Producing additional marketing communications, such as flyers, brochures and exhibition-related projects
Bring creative ideas to the table that will grow our Marketing footprint.
Assist in executing our annual marketing plan
Events coordination and execution
Review and maintain budget status and processing of invoices
Help set up and improve workflow processes
Setting up tracking systems for marketing campaigns and online activities.
Track competitor activity by keeping abreast of market changes and the marketing mix used by competitors
Produce clear and concise written correspondence in the form of letters and emails
Monitor project timelines and deliverables
Organizing the production of branded items such as stationery and merchandise

Necessary Skills and Attributes:

Marketing experience and expertise
Creative thinker that can bring timely ideas to the table
Excellent Graphic abilities (Power Point capable)
Excellent Copy writing abilities
Organized, can prioritize, multi task, and meet deadlines and goals.
Good communication skills
Self-motivated, a self-starter
Good interpersonal skills, works well with others as well as alone.


Bachelor’s degree in Marketing , new media, advertising, or a related discipline
2 to 5 years of experience in a corporate or agency marketing environment

Desired skills:
- Excellent project management and organizational skills
- Basic knowledge of HTML and Google analytics
- Designing with Adobe Creative Cloud
- Best practices for PR and social media
- Experience with Constant Contact
