Adecco is seeking – Marketing Communication Projects Strategist - Midwest location -W2 Contract


LOCATION: URBANDALE IA 50398
CONTRACT : W2 6 months (possible conversion)
PAYRATE: $ 25. to 28.50 per hour depending upon experience level
BUSINESS HOUR SCHEDULE: ( flexible start time - 8 hours per day M to F)

Summary

Successful candidate will have broad understanding of marketing project execution. This opportunity will support both strategic and tactical project management of communication campaigns. Responsible for overall execution of marketing projects for assigned clients while handling more complex projects that are higher level and/or larger in revenue or regarding with little or no direction and take on special assigned projects. This senior level marketing communications specialist will identify and make recommendations regarding upgrade or cross-sell opportunities for revenue generation or preservation. Assist in execution of testing to challenge controls and continuously improve creative. Evaluate available delivery channels to make recommendations regarding optimal mix at client and campaign level. Assist presenting strategy/creative brief to clients and facilitating client approval of annual marketing plan. Help prepare and present annual marketing stewardship reports

Duties/Responsibilities

Plan, develop, and execute multiple communication projects
Set clear expectations and goals for marketing strategy
Build and collaborate work plans, effectively communicate progress to stakeholders at multiple levels, including those external to organization
Track progress, milestones, and budget of marketing plans
Maintain quality by enforcing organizational standards and procedures
Identify and resolve issues
Work with internal and external resources to ensure client specific marketing projects are completed accurately, on-time and within budget
Set up campaign in marketing tracking system including creation of project number, mail split grid, form number grid, etc.
Prepare looping document for internal, compliance, carrier, and client reviews.
Coordinate across teams and client management to incorporate updates
Create comprehensive list spec to include audience, segmentation criteria, suppressions, and personalization requirements
Complete vendor instructions form for print vendor
Coordinate production meetings to review VI and final campaign materials.
Receive and review color and personalization proofs received from print vendor.
Ensure personalization, branding, logos, etc. are accurately reflected and provides final approval for printing
Maintain/manipulate internal marketing or administrative systems to ensure costs and other project-level information is up-to-date and accurate, or analyze demographic data
Review campaign results with management to measure success or projects and outline recommendations for future campaigns
Provide mentorship to junior staff
Participate in client marketing meeting/calls to discuss marketing activity
Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and carriers to define strategy
Assist in development of client specific marketing plans and budgets to include all viable marketing channels
Submit comprehensive creative brief to copywriter/designer and secure SOW and Purchase Order. Review creative draft with manager. Coordinate revisions with copywriter/designer


Education/Experience Requirements:

College degree marketing or related field required
3+ years’ experience consumer direct marketing and/or B2B direct marketing or equivalent in experience or demonstrated capabilities
Experience insurance industry preferred
Demonstrated excellence in written and oral communication to effectively present new concepts and drive outcomes with impact
Persuasive negotiating skill as measured through ability to convince key internal and external stakeholders to approve and support firm-developed marketing strategies
Proven expertise in direct response marketing strategy development and execution
Knowledge of accounting and budgeting processes
Initiative, proactive, follow-through ability with little or no direction from management
Critical Thinker and Problem Solver
Organization and planning abilities
