Marketing Communications Specialist

Pay Rate of $40/ hour

This position has associate product line management responsibility for Eaton B-Lines Data Com products including the cabinet, airflow management systems, rack, and cable runway product categories. The product line manager is responsible for helping to deliver profitable growth by developing and implementing the product line strategy while executing price, promotion, channel, and product life cycle initiatives. The incumbent for this position should have experience in multi-generational product planning and new product development processes that utilize phase gate milestones. Success of the incumbent will be dependent on their ability work collaboratively across all business functions to gain mindshare and execute on strategic priorities. The products for this position are manufactured in multiple manufacturing facilities located in Worcester, MA and Reno, NV.

In this function you will:
• Translate voice of customer and market data/information into actionable short term and long term strategic plans.
• Understand competitive dynamics (product and strategic) and incorporate into strategic plans and MGPP
• Develop and implement strategic plans, forecasts, growth funnels, and multi-generation product plans
• Identify and work cross functionally to improve profitability through productivity projects (VAVE, Sourcing, alternative manufacturing strategies)
• Improve the customer experience and provide competitive advantage through quoting, pricing, and inventory process improvements and engagement
• Lead and implement promotion activities to expand the products value propositions and brand awareness through marketing collateral while engaging in the businesses digital marketing transformation
• Identify and promote value propositions that support Eaton B-Lines go to market strategy and uniquely differentiate the product in its markets
• Obtain extraordinary mindshare of the Mid-Market Sales Team to drive engagement through training, support, product promotion, etc.
• Actively manage pricing decisions and price dynamics in heavily material burdened products
• Develop and implement processes that manage, qualify and quantify custom products driven by customer and application requirements

• Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Business Administration/Marketing required.
• Minimum of 2 years of product management and/or sales experience in the Data Com or electrical sector markets
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future
• No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Worcester, MA.

Preferred qualifications:
• Experience working in the datacom or electrical sector markets
