Location: Princeton, New Jersey

Duration: 6 months+ contract – very likely extensions

Position Summary

 

The Marketing Coordinator plays a critical role in the management, planning, and execution of business and marketing initiatives for the client’s brand. The Marketing coordinator is responsible for executing marketing programs and collaborating with brand stakeholders to execute key programs for client’s brand. The coordinator will manage, update and maintain client’s brand website in conjunction with program and customer experience team.

 

Responsibilities for this position include:

  • Executes with excellence: delivers projects on time, on budget and error-free.
  • Gains solid understanding of brand positioning, consumer and customer insights, products and other relevant information to ensure effective marketing initiatives.
  • Effectively manage all job requests for Internal Creative team and/or external creative agencies from initiation to completion
  • Creates and presents assignment briefs to ensure all creative teams are informed of marketing objectives
  • Successfully collaborates with cross-functional team members, including support teams, product team and external Marketing agency and vendors.
  • Works closely with traffic manager to facilitate proper schedule adherence and timely completion of jobs.
  • Synthesizes comments on creative materials from reviewing parties.
  • Effectively solicits and incorporates views of brand stakeholders and be a backup support for others on brand marketing team.
  • Ensure that the project timeline is followed, and manage changes to the schedules as needed, based on client and creative feedback.

 

Candidates must meet the following requirements for consideration

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or business or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 3- 5 yrs. of experience in brand marketing is highly desired
  • Strong writing and communication skills with an ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
  • Must have knowledge of social media platforms and be tech-savvy.
  • Excellent prioritization skills - ability to multi-task and work well under pressure.
  • Analytical with the ability to analyze data, synthesize and present results
  • Advanced skills with MS office suite including MS Excel and MS PowerPoint are highly desired
  • Ability to successfully track program metrics
