Job description:
The Sales and Marketing Assistant position entails managing a wide range of marketing processes and projects. The Sales and Marketing Assistant interacts with sales, product development, and customer service departments to ensure that the collateral and other communications reflect brand of the company accurately. Individuals working as a sales and marketing assistant perform a range of administrative and marketing support duties related to the daily operations of the marketing department. The Sales and Marketing Assistant will be required to be in office Monday through Friday.
Duties and Job Responsibilities:
Coordinates the marketing and branding strategies in collaboration with the Vice President of Marketing. Works consistently to achieve the prospect and market share goals as well as maximizing the investment of the departments marketing and planning budgets.
In-take and traffic marketing requests and manage deadlines from inception through to completion.
Interacts with various company departments, especially with management and sales to ensure collateral and other communications are accurate and reflect the brand of the company. Monitors the corporate communications plan and strategy for uniformity in the message including templates, logos and message.
Attending company-sponsored events and promotions. Provide event photography when needed. Assist in community outreach for sales, and cultivating collaborative relationships with community groups and other agencies.
Work with Marketing and Community Relations personnel to plan, organize and coordinate special events, corporate events, meetings, conferences and other events. Attend and coordinate details of events.
Executing a wide variety of details that involve direct mail, email broadcast campaigns, outbound calls, marketing trade shows and events, public relations, customer communications, media advertisements, promotions, and other marketing plans
Maintaining communication open lines with all organizations and providing prompt answers to requests to determine how to convey concise, clear, and timely selective information
Writing and maintaining content and providing monthly updates to company website
Coordinates various integrated communication and marketing activities. Coordinates the production and implementation of marketing materials including collateral, signs, the point of purchase displays, email broadcast campaigns, media advertisements, promotions and other marketing plans. Execute and analyze results of advertisement and marketing campaigns. Maintain historical files of all marketing collateral and advertisements.
Assisting in writing, tracking and delivery of press releases.
Tracking campaigns, preparing performance analysis reports of post campaign and making recommendations to concurrent programs for corrective modifications (aka Google Analytics)
Monitoring online publishing of press releases and blogs for tracking communications related to the brand of the company.
Coordinate electronic interactives used in sales presentations and updates as needed.
Schedule, gather, organize and maintain visual assets in the media library (photography, art, etc.)
Assist Marketing personnel with researching, incorporating and implementing new technologies into marketing strategies to ensure we remain innovative and cutting-edge as needed.
Oversee marketing efforts and act as a liaison between sales teams and the corporate office: provide collateral, signage and promotional materials.

Bachelor's Degree, preferably in marketing or advertising, and/or equivalent years of experience.

Skills and Specifications:
Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office skills required
Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.)
Ability to operate under solid pressure and meet tight deadlines
Excellent Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook skills
Effective understanding of latest technologies and should identify how to apply them in marketing
Good team player and should meet or exceed team goals

Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit; use hands to handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; talk and hear.
Position requires sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping, grasping, writing, typing, repetitive motions, hearing ability, visual acuity, and climbing stairs on occasion.
The employee frequently uses computer keyboard, occasionally travels (as vehicle driver and as passenger on various modes of transportation), and occasionally performs work on-site at construction work sites.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Employee views computer monitor frequently.
May occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
