Reports To: Senior Director of Marketing
Salary: $70k – 80k

SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE
The Marketing Manager is a key factory staff member responsible for developing and executing all direct marketing, website, and tradeshow strategies to support the business objectives and grow the company’s brand recognition and market share. This role calls for an energetic self-starter who thrives in a fast paced, innovative, and dynamic environment. The Marketing Manager will work in concert with cross-functional teams and other departments to provide support in achieving quality goals defined and established by upper management.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Collaborates with marketing, product management, sales, creatives, channel management, and other key leaders to develop and execute integrated marketing and communication strategies for new and existing products to maximize long term sales and profit
Manages corporate website and coordinates updates with new products and other initiatives
Experience determining offsets and ability to adjust accordingly
Will play a major role in working with an outside vendor in the development of a new company website and coordinating input from all internal business teams
Manages Sales Force Marketing Cloud and develops and executes consumer and dealer email marketing campaigns
Works closely with the product management team to anticipate and plan product launches
Executes consumer and dealer rewards, promotions, and programs
Manages tradeshow planning and coordination for 2 major shows and 5 minor shows
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (word and excel)
Trouble shoot various problems and develop corrective action to prevent reoccurrence
Adhere and monitor SOP
Understand/ learn the nature and functionality of the company’s products
Effectively communicate and notify manager when there are discrepancies
Must be able to accurately input all required data into the manufacturing database
Complete other duties as assigned by manager


SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position has direct supervisory responsibilities.

Demonstrable ability to build consensus among a broad constituency
Experience in creating and launching a new corporate website
Experience in managing cross platform communications disciplines including print, broadcast, digital, and email
Proven track record of successfully achieving and exceeding organizational goals and objectives
Strong problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and presentation skills both verbal and written
Knowledge of firearms; quality, features, safety, etc.
Cross functional leader with high levels of professionalism, integrity, and enthusiasm
Must be able to work accurately and efficiently in a fast work environment that has the potential to change due to regulatory and business needs
Need to be detail oriented and highly organized with the ability to multi-task
Experience working independently with little supervision


EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in consumer goods marketing experience
Firearms industry PR experience


LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret quality performance reports and create solutions. Ability to effectively present information to management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

REASONING ABILITY
This position requires various reasoning abilities in order to be successful such as:

Ability to collect and document data
Ability to follow written and oral instructions
Ability to perform complex and varied tasks
Ability to perform simple, repetitive tasks for an extended period of time


COMPUTER SKILLS
Required knowledge of Microsoft Office suite including MS Project, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word and MS Outlook using MS Office Windows platform. Photoshop, Keyshot, and other related software and programs.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
This position may require travel occasionally.
