Marketing Manager

Adecco Creative is assisting our client, a global professional organization that brings the beauty community together through events, networking, and fundraising, in their search for a Marketing Manager. This is direct hire position working onsite in the client’s downtown Manhattan office.

With this exciting change comes the need for team expansion, and so their search for an ambitious and well-versed Marketing Manager begins! Responsibilities with span Event and Membership Marketing, Digital Marketing, & Data and Reporting.

Responsibilities:

  • Create strategic marketing plans to reach event, membership and content goals (revenue and engagement based).
  • Implement marketing strategies across multiple channels and platforms including; email (heavy emphasis on automation), social, paid, advertising, app and on site at events.
  • Oversee the creation of email campaigns including content creation, design and targeting and/or segmentation and deployment.
  • Work with the Marketing and Events Teams to strategize and implement a comprehensive social media strategy.
  • Support paid media efforts to generate new leads through our advertising platform (Feathr).
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the databases and data flows as they pertain to email, while leveraging this knowledge to enhance event and membership programs with behavioral triggers, personalization, and improved user experience.
  • Assist in consolidating reporting across marketing platforms (email, advertising, website and social to pull together a holistic view into performance
  • Leverage analytics (tools) to uncover insights about our marketing and make recommendations for improvement.  

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree in marketing, business or similar discipline
  • 3 - 5 years of B2B marketing experience ideally in membership, events and/or conferences
  • Minimum of 2 years hands on email marketing experience: building and deploying email campaigns, structuring automated programs, and exporting/analyzing/manipulating reporting data (Pardot, Marketo, etc.)  
  • Strong editor’s eye for written storytelling with an understanding of copywriting and marketing language.
  • Proficiency in InDesign or equivalent, Photoshop or equivalent, Adobe CS, Word, PowerPoint
  • Mid-Level skill set in Excel (tables, charts, formals etc.)
  • Proficient with web analytics tools, such as Google Analytics, Google ads, Facebook campaigns, LinkedIn, and all social media platforms.
  • Experience with social media tools such as Sprout or Hoot Suite
  • Passion/interest in the beauty industry is a plus
