Primary Function:

 

The Category Account Management team drives creative strategy and creative oversight for all digital vendor monetized programs from concept through program launch. The team works with internal Target stakeholders, external clients and third-party partners to ensure the program meets or exceeds our vendor/client partners and Target expectations. The Lead Category Account Manager is the day-to-day contact and relationship manager responsible for implementing programs.

 

Duties:

 

Digital Creative Execution Implement creative strategy and drive brand experience development in support of client and program objectives.

Lead resource assignment and distill marketing challenges and business goals into focused creative briefs in preparation for agency kickoff for program assignment.

Use business processes and systems, industry knowledge, and best practices to define strategy, objectives and scope based on client requirements.

Drive flawless execution with on-time launches.  

Serve as a steward of the Target brand in support of Target purpose to help all families discover the joy of everyday life (make it easy for guests to feel welcomed, inspired and rewarded).

Develop and document work plan for execution and identify gaps and opportunities to drive efficiencies. Articulate and defend creative direction to internal and external stakeholders.

 

Relationship Management

 

Be client-centric as you serve as the post-sales lead contact for vendor/brand clients to ensure program objectives are delivered through creative execution.

Effectively present, communicate and manage expectations regarding creative and business strategies, statuses, and key decisions within project teams; lead issue resolution with partner teams.

Partner closely with TMN Sales and TMN Media Strategy team to understand vendor/client/brand strategic priorities and financial goals by category.  

Understand our advertising platform and how to sell it; working within the existing framework.

Be willing and able to adapt with the business as it evolves over time.

 

Innovation

 

Recommend, evaluate and execute test plans in effort to learn and evolve category of business in support of new revenue growth opportunities.

Support and execute new digital solutions that facilitate additional revenue strategies.

Partner with Sales, Product and Ad Operations to drive innovation and support risk taking to enhance the guest experience and drive revenue growth.
