Master Scheduler

Adecco Direct Placement is currently recruiting qualified candidates for a Direct Hire Master Scheduler Job in Ft. Collins, CO for our client, a reputable designer and manufacturer for control solutions for aerospace and industrial markets. The Master Scheduler has the responsibility of establishing, managing, reviewing and maintaining a valid schedule for production items. This position will impact internal and external customer service, supply chain, inventory, material and capacity planning. Our client seeks a candidate with a bachelor’s degree and with APICS certification and a minimum of 3 + years in planning/scheduling in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities for the Master Scheduler Job in Ft. Collins, CO include:

Identifies, negotiates and resolves conflicts with respect to material and capacity availability and order-promising integrity
Schedules raw material/purchase components through product release (i.e. "billet to box")
Plans, schedules, and releases Production, Aftermarket (Repairs and Spares), NPI, PPAP and interplant orders
Actively works on reducing inventory/ lead times, production improvements, and efficiencies
Actively looks for improvements in the planning/ scheduling process in addition to maintaining part parameters such as planner codes, lead times and safety stocks
Creates planning BOM's and looks for ways to add phantoms and change BOM structure to improve production efficiency
Works with both sales and operations globally to provide timely feedback regarding all requested schedule changes
Communicates when demand cannot be met and recommends alternatives on how the requested demand could be satisfied
Guides and assists new Schedulers, Planners, SQE's, SMs, and/or Supervisors in the planning processes
Participates in projects (e.g. NPI, PLC, etc.)
Collaborates with IT groups to test changes and updates in MRP system
Creates reports to help management in analyzing trends, production, efficiencies, etc.


Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree/International equivalent or a combination of related work experience preferred
APICS (Association of Production and Inventory Control Society) or other International professional certification helpful.
Some travel may be required
Greenbelt Certification preferred.
