You landing a new Material Handler job would be pretty good. But you landing a new warehouse job at our client in Cranberry/Mars would be simply awesome. And it could happen—because we’re looking for a warehouse material handler to join the amazing team at an existing client. This is one opportunity you’ll want to pick up.

Here’s a little of what you’ll be working on:

• Responsible for all general warehouse functions in a manufacturing environment.
• Shift Available- Monday-Friday: 1st 7am-3:30pm or 2nd 3:30pm-12am
• Short Term Project from Dec-March


Interested? Here’s what we’re looking for:
• Ensure a safe and clean work environment by adhering to and enforcing safety programs, policies and regulations.
• Will use various plant machinery (fork truck, cranes, hoists, dolly, etc.) to move material
• Paint and crate finished products (some positions)
• Technical aptitude to be able to assess and modify non-critical valve components and make recommendations to engineering for product improvements
• Maintain organization of stock areas.
• Responsible for maintaining high quality standards.
• Participate in Kaizen events and continuous improvement/lean initiatives
• Maintain work cell and housekeeping
o Keep work areas in good order (clean aisles, floors, etc.).
o Keeps all tools, equipment, etc. neat and orderly.
• Empty trash and sweep floors
• Empty scrap drums
• Clear walkways as needed (snow removal)

Valued Qualities
• Positive attitude and an energetic work ethic
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Previous fork truck experience required. Have a valid fork truck license is preferred.
• Ability to operate cranes, hoists and other various equipment typical in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to operate various hand tools
• Lifting up to 50 pounds as necessary
• Basic computer skills required
• Certified in OSHA programs and practices is preferred
• Experience working with the following materials is preferred: iron, bronze, steel, and some alloy metals.
• Ability to perform physical manufacturing work; good mechanical skill and ability.
• Excellent people, communication (written and verbal), negotiation and facilitation skills
• Experience with robotics and PLCs a plus
• Must be a self-starter with the ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
• Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions, with acute attention to detail
• Ability to adapt to unfamiliar processes and situations with minimal review/supervision
• Flexibility to adapt to deadlines, changing schedules, priorities, and unpredictable events within a fast-paced manufacturing
