The Material Inventory Clerk is responsible for keeping track of inventory, product and materials. This is a 1st shift position 8am to 4:30pm and includes the following job responsibilities:

? Provides daily work materials to shop personnel. Hands out gloves, PPE, and other materials as required.
? Fulfills material requests for clients.
? Counts inventory and orders as needed to maintain inventory levels and keep shelves supplied.
? Unpacks and examines incoming inventory shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages, and corresponds with Receiving department & Material Control to rectify damages and shortages.
? Marks material for identification, counts, weights or measures items of incoming materials to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.
? Electronically records materials and provides list of materials used each month. Requisitions replacement material with vendors by computer or written request.
? Sweeps floors, empties trash cans, and keeps shelves in an organized manner
? Serves as back-up for other department positions.
? Must be able a quick learner to new computer software
