Material Production Worker

Adecco is currently assisting a local client in their search to fill a Material Production Worker job in Superior, WI.  This is a temporary opportunity with potential for permanent hire upon successfully completing training. Responsibilities for this Material Production Worker job include:

  • - Use of files to sharpen cutting edges on tools
  •        

  • - Putting serrations in the jaws of long nose pliers
  • - Ensure removal of machine marks, scratches, and small materials as needed
  • - Maintain precise specifications using hand and eye coordination (may require CNC tools at times)
  • - Assist in maintaining assembly production
  • - Check for materials needed on production line
  • - Keep up to date on training and updated goals throughout training process<li>

  • - Manage time effectively
  • - Additional tasks may vary as training continues

  • Qualifications:

  • - Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • - Ability to handle small hand-held tools
  • - Related job experience and/or knowledge of the manufacturing industry is desired<li>

  • - Passion for manufacturing and the honing craft is a plus

  • This shift would be 6:00 AM-2:30 PM Monday-Friday. If needing bus line, the shift can adjust to a 7:00 AM start time to accommodate the bus schedule. Compensation is $12 per hour. p>
