Job: Material Technical Advisor
Location: Erie Pa 16531
Duration: 3 - Months (Potential to go 6-Months)
Pay Rate: $25.00 to 28.00 Per Hour
Hours: 1st Shift 6:30 AM – 3:30 PM. Overtime may be necessary (many need to come in 30 minutes early/stay late for shift change).


Position Summary

Perform material presentation projects under guidance of the Lead MTA for the avenue.

Essential Responsibilities

Execute on Material Presentation projects with guidance from Lead MTA of area. Material Presentation projects include but not limited to Kit Cart Setup/development, tear down, physical changes to match planning changes and cart system 5S, and other material 5S projects.
Be able to assist other MTAs with day to day tasks.
Work as part of a cross functional team, driving a "one team" focus, dedicated to customer success within the shop

Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, OSHA work practices, and industry / site specific work rules
Work with various software systems to manage material, and other systemic requirements


Bachelor’s Degree in a Technical discipline from an accredited college or university (Or an Associate’s Degree in Technical discipline with a minimum of 2 years of professional work experience, Or a High School Diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of Operations or Military experience) Must be well versed in Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
Bachelor's Degree in Operations or Engineering from an accredited college or university or equivalent
Proficiency in MS office applications
Strong oral and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
Ability to influence others and lead small teams
Ability to lead initiatives of moderate scope and impact
Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously
Strong and effective problem identification and solution skills
