Adecco is assisting a local client recruiting for a Mechanic in Liberty, IL. This is a direct hire opportunity with a great compensation and benefits plan. Responsibilities for this Mechanic job include:

Perform routine, emergency and preventative maintenance of forklifts.
o Interpret manufacturer's technical manuals to perform the necessary maintenance and repairs.
o Troubleshoot forklift problems to include brake, electrical and hydraulic systems, detect imperfections, potential problems, safety issues and/or malfunctions.
o Replace broken or defective parts from stock parts and/or order replacement parts for major repairs.
o Reassemble forklifts and make all necessary adjustments for effective and safe operation.
o Perform safety inspection of forklifts prior to being released back to the work floor.
o cleaning of equipment, tools and shop as required.
o Ensure work area and methods used in carrying out job duties meet safety requirements.
o Maintain an organized and neat work area.
o Complete legible service documents and submit timely.
o Ability to maintain a valid driver license to allow travel to service calls
o Ability to follow daily work requests
o Read and understand electrical and hydraulic schematics
o Safe operation of service trucks.

This position requires knowledge and experience within the mechanical field. Ideal candidate will have at least 2 years' experience in maintenance/ repair industry. Must be mechanically inclined and have strong work ethic.

Requirements:
� HS diploma/ GED
� 2 years� experience or degree in mechanic program
� Strong work ethic
� Great attendance
� Strong attention to detail

Dress Code- uniforms provided, must wear steel toed boots.
