POSITION: Mechanical Assembler

LOCATION: Aurora, OH 44202

START DATE: ASAP upon successful interview with client

DURATION: Temporary to Permanent Opportunity for the right candidates after 90 days! 

PAY RATE: $14.00 per hour with a pay increase upon being hired permanent by our client! 

HOURS: 1st Shift Monday through Friday 7:00am-3:30pm – with the understanding VOLUNTARY OVERTIME WILL BE AVAILABLE AT THE CLIENTS DISCRETION - Overtime can be daily and/or Saturdays depending on clients business needs 

Position Purpose

  • Assembly of fabricated/electrical components/sub-assemblies/miscellaneous enclosures

Major Responsibilities:

  • Assembly of fabricated parts
  • Assembly of electrical parts
  • Final assembly


  • Interpret instructions such as work orders, diagrams, wire lists and verbal directions to determine materials needed in sequencing assembly of given product
  • Fabrication and installation of flexibar as required
  • Installation of larger power wires; inclusive of retrieving, crimp lugging and heat sleeve shrinking
  • Inspection of parts, materials and assemblies to comply with company quality standards
  • Properly communicating/documenting with supervision as required in the position
  • Become familiar with interpreting 3-D solid model viewers

Job Requirements:

  • High School Graduate or GED. 
  • Self-starter and respectful of others
  • Assembly in a manufacturing environment
  • Must have the ability to read assembly drawings and follow direction
  • Must be able to lift and handle heavy parts up to 30 lbs.
  • Must be able to squat, kneel, or climb a stepladder while working
  • Ability to use hand tools & wire crimpers
  • Ability to properly use calibrated torqueing tools


Job Skills Desired/Qualifications:

  • Good attendance/attitude
  • Electrical assembly experience
  • Excellent documentation skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to navigate an array of computer programs
  • Previous experience using and working with hand and small power tolls REQUIRED
