Our client needs someone responsible for process design and engineering for filtration projects. Will develop process design calculations including P&ID’s, PFD’s, equipment sizing, and should have knowledge of the project development and execution process. Manage project planning and front end engineering stages of project development.Working with our international clientele and working within our company multi-discipline departments the candidate can utilize his/hers technical knowledge and professional experience. The role requires technical solutions and detail design process systems throughout all the phases of a project.

This position requires approx. 20% to 30% overnight travel, to oversee new installation/startup of our equipment, and assisting customers with existing installations.

• Optimize and develop processes with our test equipment at customer’s facility.
• Assist customer to optimize operations and maintenance of our equipment.
• Optimize and develop processes with our test equipment at our facility.
In-house duties include engineering support, assisting with new projects,
• Produce, check and approve design engineering documentation.
• Ensure all deliverables are in accordance with client requirements.
• Lead internal design and project teams.
• Provide technical support to our customers; identifying and resolving customer challenges, as required.
• Work closely with our team supporting Steri products and technology

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree
• 20% overnight travel required to for trouble shooting, installation support , meetings with customers
• Must have a valid Driver’s License and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record
• No immigration sponsorship offered for this role

Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial), or Life Sciences (Biology, Chemistry, etc.)
• 10 + years of Process or equipment design experience in the chemical or similar industry.
• Life science or specialty chemical/petro chemical industry experience.
• High computer application literacy (including Microsoft Office Suite, CAD (AutoCad and Inventor) and ability to learn internal business systems)
• Prior experience that required excellent communication skills
• Prior experience that required excellent organizational skills
• Prior experience that demonstrates a strong work ethic and ability to multi-task
• Extensive knowledge of filtration technologies, chemical processing equipment and its applications.
