Medical Assistant

We are currently looking to fill a Medical Assistant role for our client Kerlan Jobe in their Orthopedic Unit. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about what they do, dependable, punctual and overall give strong care to their patients! This is a contract role with opporutnity to become a permanent employee through Kerlan Jobe. At least one year of Ortho experience
Back Office Experience
Effective Communication
Multi-Tasker
Self-Starter
Adaptable
Fast Learner
MA certified
American Heart Association Certified (BLS)


EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

-Medical Assistant certification from accredited school.
-Phlebotomy certified (preferred but not required)
-Intermediate computer skills preferred.
-Proven/provide customer service skills.
-Basic understanding of patient care flow and insurance concepts.
-Ability to correctly set up exam rooms/procedure rooms using sterile/aseptic technique with
appropriate instruments or trays.
-Basic ability to prepare patient for office visit/procedures.
