Adecco Medical & Science has immediate urgent contract opportunities for Support Service Assistants, and Medical Assistant professionals for a new client in the Peninsula Bay Area. These are a minimum three to six month contracts and could go longer depending on budget, and we are conducting in-house interviews next week on the 25th of October between 9am to 2pm

Conducts inventory, replenish units in the Par Value System and maintain related records.
Receives, checks in and stores supply shipments. Verifies and sorts charges. Conducts daily
Inventory of bulk stores, processed stores and sterile manufactured supplies. Notifies Supervisor
of items and quantity needed; places orders for necessary supplies. Inventories and replenishes
user unites in the Par Value System; maintains accurate and legible records of transfer of accountability.
Receives, checks in and stores supply shipments; notifies Supervisor of any discrepancies.

Qualifications Required:

High school graduate or equivalent.
In addition to the requirements for Support Services Assistant I,must have work experience at the Support Services Assistant I level and have knowledge of the mechanical and electrical equipment handled by the department.
Age Specific Requirements: Neonate/infant (newborn to 2 years), Pediatric (2-11 years) and Adolescent (12-19 years).
Required Licenses/Certifications: None.
Risk of Exposure to Pathogens: Category I: Tasks involve exposure to blood, body fluids or tissues.
The potential for spills or splashes of blood body fluids or tissue exists in job related tasks.


The primary responsibility of the Medical Assistant is to assist clinic providers to ensure efficient patient flow and maintain quality care.
The Medical Assistant carries out clinician orders and performs/assists with patient care procedures and treatments.
The clinical duties of the Medical Assistant are performed under the
direct supervision of a registered nurse and/or supervising nurse practitioner or physician.


High school graduate or equivalent required.
Completion of all requirements in a recognized Medical Assisting training program or completion of the minimal training requirements as outlined in Section 1366 of the Business and Professions Code required.
Knowledge of medical terminology required.
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of clinic staff and public required.
Ability to work independently as well as an integral part of the patient care team is required.
One to two years prior experience as a MA preferred.
