Adecco is currently hiring for a meeting planner or event planner for a contract position in Ada, MI at a global company.

Here are a few of the job duties:
� Organize, consult and implement registration and housing procedures
� Accurately and effectively manage room blocks
� Establish and maintain consultative relationships with meeting planners and hotels
� Provide on-site leadership for procedures and post-event data

Here are the required and preferred qualifications for the meeting and event coordinator:
� College degree preferred or equivalent job experience
� Minimum of 2 years industry or related experience preferred
� Strong communication, time management and project management techniques
� Understanding of Event-related databases and web registration
� Proficient skill set in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, and Outlook

Here are some additional responsibilities and duties:
� Coordinate the Advance Registration Process for meetings of any size as directed by Management
o Create and execute timelines
o Ensure meeting planners expectations are upheld
o Work with meeting planner and internal client to determine business rules and specific event requirements
o Interprets, schedules and follows through on all advance registration event detail
o Provide complete and accurate pre- & post-event counts and financial statistics as scheduled
o Responsible for coordination and production of badges, lanyards and registration materials
o Work with Meeting Planner of website content and coordinate all production aspects of site

Pay is depending on experience.
